The purchase of the clothing is simple, if you are going all out and sparing no expense it will be an Acquisition roll, however it is not just an outfit it is a wardrobe for yourself and a few items for Leo, they offer to deliver the bulk of it to your address in Xicarph. (its alot of boxes, satchels and wrapped parcels)

It takes about 2 hours for this little excursion and contains Best Quality outfits.

Yes, Bill will be heading to the Arena with who ever wants to come. I'm pretty sure it's me, the madam, and her ladies.(I think Matt wanted to come with me to the arena.) The Madam's going to help me get to know some people at the arena, says she knows someone with pull there. I(we) will look into:
1. Fighters at the arena.
2. How to enter/sponsor a fighter.
3. Looking to meet members of the black-market Arms dealing community.

Is the Navigator doing anything?

Captain and Leo, 2 hours...(finished)

Butcher, Madame, 2+ hours...possibly still underway (finished -1400)

Xero, 2 hours...still underway +9 Hours (finished -0000)

It is a little after 1500 (3PM) and the crowds are beginning to really get going. Most of the larger shops and boutiques wil be closing until the following day, instead all commerce will be conducted from stalls that can be moved and setup with the flow of the crowds. At 1800 the Festival will be gaining much more momentum as the main attractions begin competing for the attendees to the FEstival. Fights, Musical performances, Street Theater, wandering minstrels and acrobats, fools and clowns, the day of the Great Revelry is mere hours away and this is the beginniing of the madness that will soon follow.

What is gaz up to?

The Explorator is out of contact.

Are you taking the Boys, if you are you will have to pay their admittance costs depending on which area you are attempting to access. If your kit is different than already mentioned, please update it.

You get to the Arena, it is called the Cirque Du Mort and is the largest arena in Xicarph. It looks large and imposing from the outside which does not do justice to its true size. There are numerous entrances located on different levels, Madame tells you that the lower level are the floor seats, they are right in front of the action and just above the cages holding the various beasts and creatures. They are the cheapest seats and do not come without a certain risk for being so close to the action, Beasts have escaped in the past and broken up into the floor seats. The second level of seating are the mid priced balconies, they are where the lesser nobles and merchants are entertained. Finally, the third level and easily the most secure, Madame tells you are the private entrances to the various Boxes located around the top of the Arenas masive 65 meter walls.

While there are Promenade Sentinels patrolling the outside and manning the entrances, you are informed that the Arena has its own Security, not a bunch you want to mess with and they do not abide fools or disruptive behavior, especially on the upper levels. The lower levels, they expect a certain degree of hooliganism.

Tonight is the beginning of the final matches at this arena, the crowd is immense, masked revelers, street musicians and groups of well protected nobles all rub elbows at the base of the arena. The largest crowds swarm towards the main ground entrance, a smaller ramp to the side of that leads to a mid way point in the massive walls. There are a few groups of Nobles, merchants and other people of some influence moving up the ramp into the Arena from there. At the top a few security guards stand watch refusing certain groups who walk away grumbling and with protest, but a quick tap of a Shock Maul causes them to slink away dejected.

A third ramp, this one fully enclosed and with a small fenced in area where vehicles would normally discharge their passengers under the protection of the obvious sentry guns mounted along the path to the ramp. There are about 8 guards at the base of the ramp, a few waving Auspex devices around. That would probably be the ramp you are going to want.

Walking up to the fence a few people stop and take notice of your group walking to the fenced in area. A few gasps and jealous grunts emnate from them as you approach the Gate House where a pair of guards stand alert and ready. An Auspex device hanging from the belt of one, the other holding a data slate. Even though the crowd from inside the arena is almost deafening you can hear the familiar clicking sound of safeties being turned off and the whirring of automated turrets locking onto your group as it approaches.

As you get within 5 meters the guard with the auspex stands at attention at the gates door.

The Guard waves you forward, aopting a more relaxed stance.

"Your name, sir?

Captain Myngs announces himself.

He repeats what you said into a Micro Bead and paauses a moment, responding to the voice on the other end, "Affirmitive." He turns to the guard in the booth and makes a slashing gesture and the closest auto turrets return to their passive state. The guard signals for you to approach and behind him, coming from the ramp a servitor begins crossing the parking area and the guards towards the gate.

"Your ident sir?", he asks as you pass him your holochip. He waves his auspex device over it and the guard in the office acknowledges on his Data Slate. "Thank you Captain. Your escort is on its way, please step inside the gate and await its arrival." He bows slightly as he returns to his post, te gate sliding open to allow you to pass inside.

The Servitor finnaly arrives and bows deeply, "Welcome Captain Gordon Myngs, on the behalf of my master i bid you welcome. I would ask that you bid farewell to your entourage, it has been arranged for them to enjoy the pleasures of the VIP lounge. It is located on that ramp over there. If they are not inclined to enjoy the arena fights they may remain down here. I do believe my master was clear that this was a..private meeting?"

While the Captain is attending his business where is everyone else going to go? The VIP lounge will be the default location which is up the second, less guarded ramp. Inside you will have access to the bar, buffet and private balconies in which to watch the arena action. Many nobles, merchants, ships captains and other pesons of importance (read: possible endeavors) are inside here socializing, making deals and accords. Each table has a white noise generator which makes eavesdropping difficult and each balcony contains a suite of various countermeasures which can be activated for nominal fees.

What is everyone carrying and/or wearing? Access to the suite may be limited to those armed or armored in a particular way.

The Lounge area is well stocked and well served. The Servitors tend to your needs filling any requests for whatever beverage you desire, up to Best Quality Amasec. Various drugs, powders, pastes, inhalants, injected are available as well. (No psi Drugs) If the company of the other 9or same) sex is required fr soem intimate negotiations, the balcony would be the best place for you. Wandering musicians pass from lounge to lounge, remaining longer if tipped, performing various classical balalds from a number of near worlds such as Scintilla and Malfi. There are armed guards patrolling each lounge, at least a dozen in every room. Armed with Shotguns, Shock mauls and Stub Autos they act professional and wear their flak armor well. Guarding the elevators that lead to the private boxes above a quartet of guards wearing some type of heavy armor, hellguns in hand and at the ready they have a power maul at their sides and a pair of grenades on their belts.

The lobby near the elevator looks like it has some type of mounted weaponry in the far corners of room, as f the guards weren't deterrent enough. Overall you have seen less secure Imperial Magistration Buildings than this place. You can only imagine the Security Measures for the private boxes.

Madame makes her way up to each of the crowds, each table. Laughing, fawning, flirting and feigning interest she performs her art as skillfully as the assassin swings her blade. Before you finish your first round she approaches the table your group has procured.

"I have spoken with everyone here and it seems that they all were given an invitation by someone. They are not sure as to who their patron is but they all are seeking the services of ones such as ourselves. It seems as if they have been gathered for us, or moreso the Captain."

Whatever type of Endeavor you want to get involved in is here, Weapons and Arms, Drugs, Slaves, Beast Trade, Smuggling, Trade Route COntracts. You name it and Madame will introduce you to the person interested in that trade.

The past three hours have been stressful wondering what has been up with the Captain, with no word or waay to communicate you begin to tire of the Servitors constant insistance that all is well and for you to enjoy some more wine. Just a few moments before the clock strikes 12 he arrives in the lounge.
